You can step outside your routine, explore art and culture, have new experiences, gain fresh skills, and meet people with shared interests. Learn to paint landscapes, make pottery, practice the healthful martial art of Tai Chi or Chi Kung, carve beautiful objects from a chunk of wood, plan a tasty menu for family or friends, tie handy knots, learn about outer space, or speak another language. Sounds fun, huh?! Taking a class can make your summer more colorful and memorable.
Summer classes are held in July and August, on Capitol Hill (most) or online. Dates and times vary. Lovely, fascinating and talented local instructors are eager to share their knowledge and skills with you.
