Welcome! The Seattle Central College main campus is located in the heart of Seattle's vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood. Just minutes from downtown, the campus is easily accessible by light rail, bus, car, walking or biking. The main campus buildings and locations are listed below.

By Light Rail
Seattle Central College is just two blocks South of the Capitol Hill Link Light Rail stations on Broadway.
By Bus
Several King County Metro Transit bus routes serve the college. For assistance charting your route to Seattle Central, use Metro's Trip Planner.
By Bike & Foot
Our campus is a 15 minute walk uphill from downtown Seattle. Capitol Hill is a pedestrian friendly neighborhood and the college offers plenty of bicycle parking on campus.
By Car
Seattle Central is just a few blocks from Interstate 5. Carpooling is encouraged when possible since parking spaces are limited.
Parking
Students can purchase an evening parking permit to be used in the 1609 Harvard Avenue Garage. There are also private parking lots on Harvard Avenue and Broadway, as well as 2-hour metered street parking.
Driving Directions
Northbound from Interstate 5:
- Take Olive Way/Denny Way Exit 166 (under the Washington State Convention and Trade Center) and follow Olive Way east to Denny Way and turn right.
- Go up the hill and turn right on Broadway.
- Follow Broadway south to Pine, turn right, and go one block west to the Parking Garage located at Harvard and Pine.
Southbound from Interstate 5:
- Follow the Madison Street/Convention Center exit (#165), making a right hand turn onto Madison.
- Get into the left lane and turn left at Boren. Follow Boren north until Pine Street, and turn right at Pine going east.
- Follow Pine Street east until Harvard Ave. Turn left onto Harvard, then make an immediate left turn into the Harvard Ave. parking garage.
The Continuing Education office is located in room BE 1139, offices "I" through "M" in the Broadway Edison Building (the large brick building).
The most direct way to find our offices is to enter from Harvard Avenue at 1716 Harvard (the building is yellow on that side). Walk straight back to the right, past the stairs and the "fishbowl" conference room. Our main office for general inquiries and registration is "I". We are on the ground level, below the cafeteria and Atrium.

This beautiful building is located in lower Ballard neighborhood and is the location for many of our boating classes.
