Class Overview
Explore classic literature and Latin American culture while improving your reading and speaking skills. You will not only improve your language skills, but also gain deeper insights into the fascinating world of Latin American and Spanish literature, history, and traditions.
We will read selections of classic literature and discuss them in class. This will help you improve reading comprehension, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. The interactive nature of a book club offers lively discussions, creative activities, and opportunities for cultural exploration. It will be fun and dynamic!
Being part of a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about Spanish will create a supportive environment that fosters growth. It’s a great way to challenge yourself, make new connections, and have a memorable experience while enhancing your Spanish proficiency. All readings and discussions will be in Spanish.
The Literature
The instructor will provide free websites for students to read these stories and literature selections, or you can find the books in advance at a library of your choice.
