Class Overview

Would you like to learn Spanish but don't know where to begin? This class is for you! Build everyday vocabulary and expressions in this highly interactive class.

Develop basic conversational skills while exploring the dazzling diverse Spanish-speaking cultures. Get acquainted with the essentials of Spanish grammar and develop basic listening, speaking and reading skills. Interact with the instructor and fellow students in short and simple conversations.

This class offers you a place to begin your Spanish language journey and to build a strong foundation in the Spanish language that you can build upon as you gain proficiency. Beginners welcome!

 

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the alphabet and basic pronunciation
  • Become familiar with numbers 1 to 1,000 and talking about time
  • Gain an introduction to basic grammar
  • Get started learning common verbs in present tense, such as -ar, -er, and -ir verbs
  • Become more familiar with Spanish-speaking cultures
