Class Overview

Do you want to learn Chinese? This online class is designed for anyone who wishes to learn practical Mandarin Chinese (Simplified) and would like to do it from their home or office through a live online interactive classroom.

Learn basic Chinese characters, vocabulary and expressions in everyday life. Practice pronouncing, reading and writing Chinese as well as essential grammar with the guidance and support of a patient instructor. This class also prepares you to build basic Chinese conversational skills on familiar topics.

As you continue learning Mandarin Chinese, you will also be able to explore traditional and modern Chinese language cultures.

*** The class meets online via Zoom. If you are unfamiliar with Zoom, please see Frequently Asked Questions about Online Classes for  instructions. A personal computer with a camera and microphone is required.
