Class Overview
Being able to capture the likeness of people is a fun and satisfying skill. Develop your foundational drawing skills while you learn how to draw people!
We will look to art history for instruction and inspiration. Through focused study of figure construction, anatomy, proportion, and perspective, learn how to draw dynamic and believable figures. Develop a structural understanding of the human form, simplified construction methods, and spatial awareness within scenes that you compose.
Explore the human figure through both analytical exercises and applied projects, integrating anatomy and perspective into cohesive, visually compelling work. This class is good primer for anyone interested in drawing portraits, comics, and figures in action.
