John Oberst
Culinary instructor Will Oberst was born and raised in the verdant Willamette Valley in Oregon. He earned his BS in Business Management while running his craft beer and food magazine as an avid homebrewer, winemaker, cidermaker, and boilermaker.
Will moved to Seattle in 2015 where he received his MA in Communications at the University of Washington while consulting for restaurants, startups, and nonprofits. As a culinary educator, he loves sharing food history and culture with his students.
Will’s Teaching Style and Approach
Will loves to promote learning and inspire curiosity. He enjoys engaging students with games and activities, in addition to lectures, visual aids, videos, guest speakers, group presentations, and hands-on practice.
He encourages every student to participate, but asks that if any student isn’t feeling included, to let him know personally.
Will can be found on Youtube, Facebook, or Instagram (YT: @ tacos pizza and beer and FB/Insta: @ hot dog experience).
