Jose Carrasquel

José Carrasquel has been teaching Spanish language courses for more than 30 years, and he has lived and traveled in Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America. He also taught Spanish Linguistics and has presented talks in national and international conferences in Spain, Mexico, and Australia. 

He enjoys traveling and learning languages, as well as learning about different cultures from around the world. He also writes short stories and poems in both Spanish and English. 

José says, "I love teaching Spanish language classes because I love introducing  students to the richness and variety of Spanish-speaking cultures, literatures, histories, and traditions."

Teaching Style

José's classes include fun interactive dialogues, listening comprehension practice, engaging cultural and literary vignettes, and purposeful writing. He also invites students to share their own linguistic, academic, and heritage backgrounds related to learning learning the Spanish language.
