Planets

Student Reviews

"The class was superior.”

Class Overview

As we prepare to return to the Moon and continue the exploration of Mars, new missions will be launched to study the other inner worlds of the Solar System. In this class, learn about these awe-inspiring topics focused on the geology of planets.

In this exciting era, the Webb Telescope will investigate Earth-like planets around other stars. Examine the contributions that the geological sciences have made to study other planets and how that has informed the study of our own planet.

While humans are now receiving mind-blowing amounts of data from space, this is a great time to learn more. Expand your understanding of our earthly existence and feel empowered with mind-expanding knowledge.

This course is part of our Broadway Hill Club, classes designed for older students, offered during the daytime on diverse topics; students of all ages are welcome. No prior experience or knowledge of astronomy is needed.
