Class Overview

Practice American Sign Language (ASL) and continue to improve your skills in this engaging intermediate class. Expand your sign language vocabulary and cultural understanding in order to communicate more effectively.

Continue building your ASL skills learned in our Level 3 class, or comparable experience. Improve your understanding of narrative structure in ASL and movement agreement. Explore and implement more classifiers in themes of action and incidents. Take a deep dive into a few grammar structures, such as rhetorical questions and conjunctions.

  • Implementing classifiers into storytelling, including accidents or mishaps
  • Increase your ASL vocabulary, including direction-based words and expressions, clothing descriptions, making requests, and more.
